The Creative Process
From the photos you share, I'll help select a reference that best reflects your pet's unique character and will translate well to artwork.
Each portrait is painted by hand using richly pigmented SAI Japanese watercolors, layered with Prismacolor colored pencils for added texture, depth, and detail. I work on Strathmore 400 Series heavyweight watercolor paper to create an original piece of artwork made to be enjoyed for years to come.
Payment & Timing
A 50% deposit secures your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Portraits typically take 4–6 weeks, depending on size and complexity.
Your finished original artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. A high-resolution digital copy is also available upon request.
Holiday 2026 Commissions
To be considered for Christmas delivery, please submit your commission request by November 13, 2026. Availability is limited, and spots may fill sooner. Christmas delivery will be confirmed based on your location and shipping requirements.
Gift certificates are also available! Give someone a custom pet portrait while letting them choose their favorite photos and enjoy the artwork in 2027.
