About

Laura Perrone is an artist and designer based in California’s Central Valley. She creates expressive animal artwork rooted in observation, feeling, and the small details that make each animal feel unmistakably like themselves.

Working in watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, and charcoal, Laura uses color to shape mood while staying close to the character of each subject.

She creates artwork that helps people feel connected to the animals by celebrating the animals who become family. Her work carries a special tenderness for rescue animals, whose stories remind us what it means to be seen, chosen, and given a place to belong.

Beyond commissions, Laura’s creative practice includes children’s book illustration Rocky the Rescue Boxer, gallery-exhibited work at The Brick, and commercial design through her studio, Zynith Foundry.
